UPE is Full STEaM Ahead!

Next year UPE will embark on a new journey filled with Science, Technology, Engineering, Fine Arts, and Mathematics! The students are already putting their best foot forward to display their knowledge and skills in these subject areas! The TARGET classes have begun working with LEGO robotics! Each grade level is taking a hands-on field trip to either the Georgia Aquarium, the Atlanta Zoo, the NASA Space Center, or Jekyll Island! Netbooks and iPod Touches are being used in the classrooms and project-based learning has come alive through the Science Fair for 3-5 students and the Innovation/Imagination Fair for K-2 students!

Parents,

You will notice we have a survey we need you to take. This survey is concerning the possibility of a 4 day school week next year. Your input it vital to making the decision. We really want to know what you think! If you have any trouble accessing the survey please contact your child’s teacher and we will send home a hard copy for you to fill out.
